About
About Me, Brian Kennedy
I’m a senior student at University of Missouri-St. Louis, and I am very excited about my future career in technical writing! With my graduation in 2010, I’m becoming as active as possible about developing into a person of value to my future employers.
Artistically
On a more entertaining note, creative writing is a passion of mine that borders on obsession, and for that I have an amazing wife to temper my tendencies. My artistic core is intertwined with poetry, fiction, and fantasy/sci-fi. I also strive to break new ground by creating totally new genres in literature. I’ve even tried making logistical tables and lists into a type of creative expression!
My hope with this blog is two-fold: To demonstrate my learning and proficiency in technical writing and to serve as an outlet for creative expression.
Where I live
My wife, Samantha, and I reside in Florissant, a suburban county in northwest St. Louis. We both work and go to colleges close to our home, and our ultimate dream is to one day be able to get wherever we’d like to go without driving! This, of course, has led to a dogged fixation on moving to England or anything European. Don’t rule it out just yet!
My Personal Life
I’m more concerned with the quality of my life than about how I look to other people. My family is the top priority in my life, and I am working towards being able to one day share all aspects of married life. This means even the time that Samantha and I spend raising the children. How do you equally split a work-week in half so that both parents stay home with the kids? Well, I don’t know, yet. It’s an ongoing discovery.

Brian, just read your site. Nicely done. I tried to get into your blog though but didn’t really understand how. It took me to the main sight but I didn’t know how to find you from there. Do I need to join and sign in?
Love, Mom
Thanks, Mom! I recently coded a clickable icon on the Home page. It looks like a little envelope. If you enter your email address and the spam-prevention word, you’ll be automatically sent an email every time I post a new article.
The email will have a hyperlink in it that takes you straight to my blog. This way you won’t have to bother with searching WordPress to see if I’ve written anything new.
I know this is for your future with writing, is it ok for me to leave you comments on your posts? Iv read 4 already but wasn’t sure if you wanted comments on them. Let me know.
By all means, leave comments! I don’t think any blog would stay interesting if it were a one-person spiel.
